Do you encounter challenges with controlling the number of workflows? Or keeping document recommendations and edits within PolicyStat? If so, you’re not alone. Consider these strategies to help streamline workflows: Ensure you have aDocument Management Policy* that addresses who can create workflows and a Procedure that outlines the steps for requesting approvals. Conduct an annual review of workflows to identify any that are not in use,in limited use), or appear to be a duplicate. Thenevaluate those that can be deleted, merged or revised. Require that all recommendations and edits for documents managed in PolicyStat be made in the software. *This would be part of your Document Management Policy Anyone else have recommendations?
Workflow Challenges.... Streamlining the work
Reposting from Q&A for @Danielle Ferreira, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Good morning! Our hospital recently switched to PolicyStat for all our nursing policies, procedures, and guidelines. I have a few general questions on workflows and was hoping some local hospitals (NH/MA area) that are currently using PolicyStat would connect with my group and review. My past organization used PolicyTech so this is a much different platform we are trying to navigate. Thank you in advance! Danielle
